A before and after shot of a mother and her baby boy.
Shot the first pregnant shot during a maternity shoot with the mother and planned on making a basic reflection shot out of it. Thought it looked kind of bland though with the mother staring up somewhat disconnected from the picture. But looking at it, I started thinking it might be interesting to shoot an after picture with the baby and combine it like you see here. We planned to shoot the baby more "newborn", but he was sick and had to go back into the hospital. So we ended up shooting at six weeks. I was glad for it though, despite his being a bit bigger than planned, he was more aware. And I think him looking at the camera makes the picture more than a newborn curled up on her belly would have. Thank you all for the DD and everyone for their favorites and comments. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
